So I have a habit of buying writing magazines with contests inside, publishers and agents looking for new writers and how to format to submit but I don't actually use all this info. So I decided to anybody interested to give info on contests and things like that. If you are interested in anything of the sort tell me the genre of your novel so I can look for something for you. Poetry is also accepted.

I would love to try this, you already know the genre of my story though :P

I was wondering, maybe you could give me a few names of the writing magazines? (Other than Publisher's Weekly....I think it's called) I am such a newbie. >.

You are more focused in contests and workshops or agents query and news on the publishing world?

You want a contest or agent links. If publisher links I know you are YA, but there are 67 of them. I'm going to need a tiny bit of info on the finished product. For example if it has christian tones since five of them are looking for that sort of thing. I recommend publishers only if you have a finished product or almost finished and edited. These things change quickly and whoever is looking this week might not be looking later on. The contests on the other hand offer publication and are held each year so you could make it your goal even if it's past. For example I'm making "El barco the vapor" my goal for next summer.
