Man, the couple was cute. May I just give props to the author for using things like chemestry between the characters and personalities to stablish a romance. It's been my luck so far that all a couple needs to be together is lots and lots of smoldering.


I'll write a proper review later. But wow, this book was tiny.

Oh, my God, that was my very favorite book in the whole world when I was in second grade.

XD I can see that. I would have loved to read this book if I were half my age (not that I didn't enjoy the cute ride now). As a kid I kinda skipped YA and went directly to adult fiction so I missed out on the good ones. Plus apparently my writing works better for YA so I've been exploring the section.

The story is simple, straightforward and it pads sometimes, but I find that it really deals with the emotional aspect of falling in love and Ella's curse was clever. My only problem was that this story would have worked better on its own instead of being a Cinderella story. But even that is not a huge complaint.
